Faijitas
INGREDIENTS (4 PORTIONS)
  • 500 g minute steak
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • oil for frying
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 peppers, different colours, sliced

FAJITAS WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS

Time: approx. 20 min 
plus marinating time for the meat

Instructions:
  • Mix the lime juice with the oregano, cumin, paprika, chilli flakes and garlic, then toss the minute steaks in the mixture and leave to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the steaks quickly on both sides, then lift out and place on a plate.
  • Heat up the pan again until smoking and add the onion and peppers. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Cut the steak into strips and add to the pan of vegetables. Season and serve piping hot with a range of accompaniments.
