INGREDIENTS (4 PORTIONS)
- 4 pork chops, boneless
- 200 g cream cheese flavoured with e.g. garlic, chilli
- 600 g baby potatoes, halved
- 50 ml oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 100 ml red wine
- 200 ml stock
- butter/oil for frying
- salt
- pepper
CREAM CHEESE FILLED CHOPS WITH FRIED POTATOES AND A GARLIC SAUCE

INSTRUCTIONS
- Make a cut and create a pocket in each chop, fill with cream cheese and seal with a toothpick.
- Rinse the halved potatoes thoroughly in cold water, heat some oil in a pan, add the potatoes, cut side down, and cover with a lid.
- Lower to a medium heat and fry for around 5 minutes, lift the lid and turn the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, fry for another 5 minutes then check that the potatoes are done.
- Fry the chops in butter/oil on both sides until they are nicely coloured, season with salt and pepper.
- Lift out the chops and leave them to rest on a plate for a few minutes.
- Put the pan back on the heat and add 2 tbsp butter plus the garlic. Fry the garlic until soft, add the red wine and bring it to the boil. Then add the stock, bring it all to the boil again and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the chops with the potatoes, the sauce and some stir-fried haricots verts.
